Equipped kitchenette

At Casita Colombia you will find a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your favorite dishes with local ingredients.

CASITA COLOMBIA

CASITA COLOMBIA Casita Colombia is a recycled shipping container that has traveled millions of kilometers during its existence and has a lot to tell, its atmosphere and the place where it docked will inspire you so much that you will not want to leave it and we believe that you will be happy to return to us.
In Colombia, time passes differently, slower and we can find time to enjoy every little moment we have for ourselves and our loved ones, or simply to just lounge and relax.

ISLAND LIVING
Casita Colombia is a fully self-sufficient residence that is not connected to public infrastructure.
Electricity is provided by solar panels, the generated electricity is then stored in batteries and a mini-wind power plant serves as a backup source of energy. The home is heated by a wood stove and in the event of severe winters there is underfloor heating. Hot water is provided by a boiler and cooking is provided by a gas pump. Rainwater is collected from the roof into an 800l tank and further treated as utility water for the bathroom. We will provide you with drinking water extra for each stay.

Our little Colombia on the border of the Brdy Mountains
Patty is from Colombia, but has lived in the Czech Republic for over 20 years. She met Zdeněk on their travels in Australia, from where they brought back a lot of ideas. One of them is to raise awareness of Colombia from a different perspective, namely "why Colombians are some of the happiest people in the world". And so together they started building accommodation with the endless story of Colombia in the form of autonomous housing, which is so widespread in this country. And as Patty likes to say: "In Colombia, time passes just as quickly as it does here, but we manage to find time to enjoy every little moment we have for ourselves, for our loved one, or just to lounge and relax." And just such a slowdown is offered by the glamping Casita Colombia. A place where you stop and let yourself be transported 12 thousand km away, to Colombia, where you merge with nature.
